Tonys Clam Chowder Seafood Restaurant

Very cute clean and fast restaurant. Here on a Tuesday they are hours are 11:00 to 3:00. We had the shrimp roll which my wife loved I had the fish sandwich which I love and then the hush puppies were great. Not to mention the chowder is there claim to fame, which is a creamy blend and plenty of seasoning. Loved it all and the service was fantastic. You cannot beat the for Florida weather for eating outside.

We came here on a Saturday. and they were extremely busy. Our server did an excellent job of providing quality service despite the crowd. We ordered the seafood platter for two and a bowl of their famous clam chowder. Everything was delicious. They are open 11:00-3:00 Monday thru Friday, and stay open until 6:00 on Saturday. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

Tony’s clam chowder is definitely one of the best I ever had. It is so creamy with enough clam and potatoes ratio and a little spicy kick at the end that leaves you wanting more. The golden fried fish was cooked to perfection. The Cole slaw was definitely cold and sweet. There is only 7 tables so it makes the dining experience more cozy. You will spend time looking at the wall decor while enjoying another cup of chowder for sure!

Love everything about this place. If I had a dream of a Chowder House this is what it would be. During a recent trip to Boston, for one meal each day I had Chowder...and Tony's is still my favorite Chowder. Some in Boston may disagree but I recommend they take a trip to Tony's and see for themselves. My wife loves the Salmon. Good Hushpuppies are a bonus. Highly recommended when in Mt. Dora.

Tony’s Chowder house, is an amazing find in Mount Dora. We sat outdoors with family enjoying the atmosphere and food. The Clam Chowder is amazing, and the blacked shrimp and fish is the best.

Best New England lobster roll comparable to Maine. I Have tried several other seafood places and tried their chowders but still Tony’s is the best. I have to keep stopping by just to get my chowder fix. Remember don’t order a cup always get a bowl of chowder. Actually, I think they should have a “tub “ on the menu. Just addicting.

Googled places near us while we were in the area getting a horse trailer worked on and this place didn't disappoint! Cute cozy little place excellent service! Great little menu! And delicious food! The calm chowder was the best me and my husband has had and the Carmel cheese cake was out of this world he had the lobster roll and myself the hotdog both amazing as well! I'll definitely be going back and traveling the 1 and a half no problem for this place !
